Hello, and welcome to my new blog, mysterious reader!

Every once in a great while, I have thoughts that I feel like sharing with the world, but it has been quite a while since I have really had a place to do that sharing. But I’ve had enough of that, and so this new blog was born. I’ve had several in the past, but this one is new and shiny.

Like I said, it only happens every once in a while that I feel like sharing my thoughts on a subject, so posts will be few and likely far between. The topics will likely vary drastically from post to post, from genealogy to software engineering and beyond.

Now, I will say that in preparation for launching this blog, I have pre-written several blog posts on the topic of genealogy, so they will be going live gradually over the next days and weeks — but don’t be fooled! This will absolutely not be the norm, so don’t get used to it. 😉

Anyway, since this was just intended to be a short introduction post, I’ll end it here.
